O “Monte do Imperador” voltou a encher as ruas da freguesia do Monte de Vida, Tradição e Memória. Uma edição que celebrou com intensidade o legado de Carlos, último Imperador da Áustria, Rei da Hungria e da Croácia e da Boémia, falecido exilado nesta freguesia a 01 de abril de 1922, beatificado pelo Papa João Paulo II, a 03 de outubro de 2004, permanecendo o seu corpo, até hoje, na Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Monte.
Entre quadros vivos, cortejos, música, poemas, conversas e partilhas, o dia 30 de março, ficou marcado pela participação da comunidade local e pelo reencontro com o património cultural e espiritual da freguesia.
Ao longo de todo o evento, foram registados momentos que marcaram esta 8ª edição – dos pormenores mais íntimos aos instantes coletivos de celebração.

The “Emperor’s Monte” once again filled the streets of our local council of Monte, with Life, Tradition and Memory. An edition that intensely celebrated the legacy of Karl, the last Emperor of Austria, King of Hungary and Croatia and Bohemia, who died (exiled) in Monte on April 1st, 1922 and was beatified by the Pope Jonh Paul II, on October 3rd, 2004; his body remains to this day in the Church of “Our Lady Monte”.
Living frames, parades, music, poems and sharing moments, all combined, marked the 30th of march, through the participation of the local community and the reunion with the cultural and spiritual heritage of our local council. Throughout the event, moments that market this event were recorded – from the most intimate details to collective moments of celebration.
